真好！爸爸给我买了一对小乌龟，放在一个简易的塑料盒里，里面有许多砂石和水，那是小乌龟温馨的家。
有人说，乌龟是一种胆小的动物。
我把塑料盒放在了阳台上，那里有几盆花。一开始它们很不适应，很少出来活动。不过几天后，它们开始动身子，也许是有点习惯了周围的环境，竟开始在盆里活动了起来，有时还会抬着头，好像是在看外面的景色。我们就这样熟悉了起来。
我很少去看它们，一星期后，我发现其中一只小乌龟死了。它是什么时候从盆里爬出来的？因被太阳晒了许久，缺水死去了，我十分悲痛，为它的死去而默哀，为自己没有尽心的照顾它而自责。
于是我决定好好照顾剩下的那一只小乌龟。我拿着吃的，来到阳台上，它见我走近，就马上把头缩了回去。过了一会儿，它见我没伤害它，就慢慢游过去，把食物吃掉了，以后我天天都来喂它，它便也习以为常了。
又过了一个月后，我发现它的住所十分脏乱，身体也变绿了，于是我拿起盆洗了起来，洗完的`盒子干净多了，小乌龟又欢快地游了起来。
渐渐的，它的胆子越来越大了起来，开始爬“墙”了，刚爬时，它没有爬出去，但试验几次后成功了。麻烦的是每次都要把它捡起来放回去。每当我看着这只乌龟时，就会想起那只可怜的逝去的乌龟，我会记得与它共度的那段美好的时光。
我爱乌龟，它是我可爱的小宠物。
