this is a fairytale whose distribution volume is only second to the bible. it’s been translated to versions of many other languages. and i gather there must be something special, something really great about it. it’s this conviction that drove me to read it at the first beginning. well, with due respect to the author, i failed to see how this fairytale be worthy of our attention, despite the fact that many readers claimed this book to be designed for adults.
anyway, as a well-acknowledged book, it must possess unique feature to maintain it’s position. and it’s reputation and popularity will by no means be destroyed by what an unknown man says. i will talk about the main contents of the book, and the inspiration it renders as usual.
this book mainly tells us the experience of a prince from a tiny planet, who traveled to many other planets and finally came to the earth and met the pilot in a desert. the prince and the pilot became good friends, and the pilot gradually got to know the feeling and experience of his friend. before he came to the earth, little prince had been to other 6 little planets where he made acquaintance with some strange people.
the first man he met was a king on a little planet, yet he claimed to be the king of the space and ridiculously justified his unshakable governance over all. the second person was a man of vanity, who enjoyed pliments of any form without considering whether it’s sincere or not.
the third person was an alcoholic who tried to forget the fact that he’s addicted to acohol by drinking like a fish. the fourth person was an abosolute money-oriented businessman, who cared nothing but his fortune. next came the lamp-lighter who performed his duty blindly. the last one was a geographer who knew too much about geography to solve a real problem related to it. these six people each represented one kind of person like us. the author satirized people’s conceit, emptiness, fakeness, innocence and blindness through the tone of a child.
i see eye to eye with the author in that the cause of people’s loneliness can be concluded to the negligence of the bonds that connects them. people are supposed to care about each other, cherish what’s really important for them, and be grateful for the happiness that they’ve gained. we all believe knowledge and experience enable us to see clearly and make right judgements all the time. but we may sometimes lose the right to speak straighforwardly, think creatively or love courageously resulting from what we’ve experienced. that why in our middle school textbooks, it’s the little kid that breaks the illusion of the emperor by saying ”but mum, he ain’t were anything”.
when i was a child, i was definitely a good boy who went home on time after school and did his homework and never tried anything without mom’s permission. and now i am a grown-up, and still i am a good man, at least, that’s what i heard. sometimes when i was lonely and i began to think about my childhood, then all the happiness and care-free
life came back to me as it were yesterday. kids that once acpanied me during my childhood now bee fathers and mothers of their kids and i myself am a child no more. thinking about all these things have made me moody. there’re changes happening in our lives whether we are happy about it or not.
people told me life is a journey which will never stop once it’s started. what’s left behind are happiness and sorrow, pride and shame, success and regret. there’s good old time to reminisce and there’s sad hours that reminds us of the pain. your feeling makes them real, and you know you lived.
i want to conclude by saying some positive words that each yestersday used to be today, and each today is the future of yesterday, so making the most of today is the best way to cherish your lives. our mortal beings are doomed to die. it’s not sad, instead, death it’s just a process of our lives. after all, we’ve lived our lives and it’s what we do and how we think that determine who we are.
(when you look at the above passages, don’t regard it as a position or an article, because if you do, you will be puzzled at the structure. it’s just a few words that e to my mind at the moment and i type them.)
have a nice day!
英语版读后感篇3
little woman was written by american female writer alcott. after reading this novel, i have some opinions about these four women.
the novel described four sisters in the march family; they were kind to each other and love each other, hardworking, stayed with neighbor laurence friendly. different disposition girls had found their own happy through their own goodness and industrious. the novel has not a fluctuation plot and fascinating suspension in a play, but the author described the happiness in march family with the simple language. their good and kind, loyalty to love and family has left me a deep impression. the author only described very ordinary detail in the life, but reveals the love to the happy life expectation everywhere.
although these girls born in a poor family, but they all had the positive attitude to any matter, the novel had laid emphasis on their individuality and the dignity, but also has displayed their self-expression restraint. independently was these four girls’s common characteristic, they always keep discovering their own shortcoming and correct it as soon as possible which worth our learning. look we, some people always make mistakes, but they always think that it is a small mistake; they don’t need to notice it, let it go. if every one like them, the society will become very awful, no rule can limit people’s behaviors, they can do anything they like.
these four girls are very different, let me introduce them, meg, the eldest of the four, was sixteen, and very pretty, being plump and fair, with large eyes, plenty of soft, brown hair, a sweet mouth, and white hands, of which she was rather vain. fifteen-year-old jo was very tall, thin, and brown, and reminded one of a colt, for she never seemed to know what to do with her long limbs, which were very much in her way. she had a decided mouth, a comical nose, and sharp, gray eyes, which appeared to see everything, and was by turns fierce, funny, or thoughtful. her long, thick hair was her one beauty, but it was usually bundled into a net, to be out of her way. round shoulders had jo, big hands and feet, a flyaway look to her clothes, and the uncomfortable appearance of a girl who was rapidly shooting up into a woman and didnt like it. beth, as everyone called her was a rosy, smooth-haired, bright-eyed girl of thirteen, with a shy manner, a timid voice, and a peaceful expression which was seldom disturbed. her father called her "little tranquility," and the name suited her excellently, for she seemed to live in a happy world of her own, only venturing out to meet the few whom she trusted and loved. amy, though the youngest, was a most important person in her own opinion at least. a regular snow maiden, with blue eyes, and yellow hair curling on her shoulders, pale and slender, and always carrying herself like a young lady mindful of her manners. what the characters of the four sisters were we will leave to be found out.
i love meg for her being glad to impoverish for love, not enticed by the money. she did family teacher to help the family. i love jo for her free and easy, likes her for the steadfast determination which she struggles for dream. she earns living expenses with aunt march and writes articles for the newspaper to gain the payment to increase the daily necessities to the family. i love beth for her tranquil characteristic, doing anything without any complain. like her good personal character which always considers for others, she loves music and feels shy with strangers, so she always does some housework with her mother at home. i also love amy for her strong desire; she regard supporting the poor people as her own faith. she was interested in sketch. though their idea and the destiny are various, they had all found their own love.
in their eyes, the family was not only the place of growth but also the holy refuge. they liked to hear their mothers instruction carefully; they created games by their clever brain and hands which can beautify the mind. four sisters growth courses were as if an interest education poem. the author had shown us the humanitys great dear ones such as friendship and love with ordinary language. in my opinion, it will be the happiest matter if these four sisters can live with those who they love. they are all good person, if i can live with them, i think my left will become rich and colorful.
an old saying said that “three women can play a performance”, woman always have their own idea, if the idea has formed, and almost no one can change it. when women meet, if one talks her opinion about something, another one will give her opinion to the first one, then the argument will take place, let’s imagine, there were four women in one family, though they are sister, argument can’t avoid, it will be very interesting in the home.
from the novel, i have learned that we should keep hope for future and make great efforts to seek dream. i also have learned to cherish what you have had such as your parents, time and so on ,we should discover everyones merit but to take the colored eye to see others shortcoming.
remember, whatever your goal is, you will get it if you are willing to do!
英语版读后感篇4
everybody has read a famous masterpiece - "treasure island", treasure island english reading. the book revolves around an adventure story, in which a young man was born in a poor home to make a living in a hotel. the boy is the hero of the book, jim. hawkins. he stumbled upon a map of a desert island where old pirates hid gold and silver. so, he and other friends to discuss, with a group of seaman embarked on a trip to find. but soon, they were a group of seaman mutiny, the two sides keen on the battlefield, they launched a thrilling fight with the enemy. finally, because all the efforts of the crew, charged to victory, jim soon, they carried the wealth jubilantly with the home.
although i did not go there in person adventure, but in my mind, always emerge a picture, jim his honest face always appeared in his side, he is so noble, kind, brave, he is always able to subdue the pirates, victory, he is so brave! when i heard him this sentence shaking shock, such as this one: we see the land that night, i was in the apple barrel, i heard you, john, and dick johnson. - you, it is a chinese, he is now at the bottom of the sea, i am still a little while, every word you said the report, the "treasure island" in english reading. as for the schooner? it made me cut off the ropes of the ship. it was i who killed you on the ship...... when i saw these, i was very shocked, a juvenile can have so much courage to say these, which i admire.
of course, i admire people who have a resentment of the people, such as silver as the representative of the people, in their body are hypocritical, presumptuous, evil, they kill the lives of others for themselves, they do not feel guilty for what you have done, but more and more rampant. think of the money the brain is empty, finally only kill the idea, to a mans throat cut, run amuck. let my mind they all come out with a pair of ferocious terror ningxiao eyes with a seaman knife killed many people crazy, only for their own benefit and loss of humanity.
although the novel is genuine, his work embodies a sharp confrontation between good and evil. i think the story warns us not to do anything selfish, because it is the wrong way in your life, and jim is a kind of spiritual wealth represented by justice.

remember, hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things and no good thing ever dies!
andy in the film there is such a word: " don't forget that there are ... places ... in the world that are not made up of stone, there is something ... inside ... that they can not get to ... that is hope ( don't forget the world through walls, all things, there's something inside, that they cannot get to, that they cannot touch, that is hope ) ". indeed, as andy said, the wall can bind our body freedom, even in the system that can bind our spiritual freedom, but only hope can not give up. lose hope of life is dull, lifeless, and even there is no significance. andy in my heart has not abandoned the desire for freedom, but he has also been hope for their own efforts -- every night to use the hammer to dig red that hundreds of years to dig through the wall. and for red and brooks, they had to give up hope, because in their view of hope can only make yourself more pain, even think hope is the source of the pain. a man in the 19 years of painful prison life, do not give up longing for freedom, this is a kind of spiritual beliefs, so he succeeded, recapturing their freedom, the judgment of the lord fell quickly.
