大家知道农民有多辛苦吗，每到夏天农民为了让自己的稻谷长的更好，大热天的当我们在空调间中很舒适时，他们就在田里干活，一滴滴豆大的汗珠从头上挂下来，渗进泥土里。
记得有一次我来到乡下，来到农田时田野一片绿色，就像是一块一块绿色的大毯子铺在那里。在这绿色的毯子上，有着许多人在忙碌地干着农活，有的在耙田，有的在挑秧苗……我看到有一个农民婆婆在除草，婆婆轻轻地弯下腰，用那洁净的'双手去接触那肮脏的杂草和污泥，虽然杂草除去了，却脏了自己洁净的双手。如果是我们，怎么也不会把手去碰那肮脏的泥土。火似的太阳照射在每个农民的后背上，汗珠湿透了他们每一个人的衣服，每个农民从田里走出来，都是一身污泥，一身臭汗走出来。

同学们都会背那首李绅的《悯农》吧？“锄禾日当午，汗滴禾下土，谁知盘中餐，粒粒皆辛苦。”先不说农民种粮食有多么不容易。就是我们的父母每天辛辛苦苦上班、打工，从事着各种各样的工作，他们何曾这样大手大脚，这样随意浪费呢。有的同学可能会说，我在食堂吃饭是花了钱的，吃不完倒掉又能怎样？这并不是我们浪费的理由，难道我们花钱了，就可以扔掉美德吗？就可以把我们民族的.优良基因扔掉吗？有的同学很挑食，总觉得食堂的饭菜不可口，扒了几口饭就倒掉了，说自己不爱吃。还有的同学着急去玩，简单吃几口，不饱不饿，急三火四，等下午饿了再买吃的。这即不利于健康，还是一种浪费。其实这些同学往往是馋虫在作怪，惦记着买零食，小食品。我们本来可以不花这份零花钱，可以把它攒起来买几本书，或者父母过生日的时候买件小礼物孝敬一下他们，但我们都这样无端地浪费了。可能有的同学会说，在食堂吃饭那么多人，我一个人浪费那点算什么，大家都不浪费才行。是的！但，我们不从自身做起又怎么来要求别人呢。所以，我提出倡议：从我做起，坚持光盘行动！
1.珍惜粮食，避免剩饭，能吃多少盛多少。
2.不偏食，不挑食，吃好每一顿饭。
3.看到浪费的现象主动劝阻。
4.在家里或外出就餐时，也做到节约适度，不浪费。
