good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen, today i'm going to talk about sandstorm.
sandstorm is a kind of bad weather witch is becoming increasingly common in northwestern china, and it usually happens in spring and fall. though i'm only 13, i have experienced it and suffered from it quite a lot.
i'm sure most people still remember the sandstorm that happened last month. it swept across the large area of 11 provinces and caused a great loss to our nation.
as you can see on tv, when a sandstorm comes, the wind blows strongly with dust and sand. sometimes trees are even broken down in half, and little birds cannot find their homes. sometimes clouds of dust blur the vision, and little kids cannot find their ways. it's like the end of the world.
when a sandstorm occurs, our classroom is filled with dust and sand. my poor teachers! they've breathed in enough chalk-powder. now, they have to take in much dust. my poor fellow classmates! they told me they were almost dying.
we love beautiful spring. we cherish bright sunshine. but sandstorms destroy all the lovely things. yet we know it is mother nature's revenge on what we have done to her. in order to see blue sky and sunny spring again, we should plant more trees and more grass to protect the environment. and it is not too late if we start right now.
though it's a hard job to fight against the sandstorm, it is the battle we must fight, and it is a battle we must win!

stepping into the new century environment pollution has become more serious than ever since. there are different kinds of pollution. such as water pollution air pollution and noise pollution and so on. it seems that we live on a planet which is full of pollution. where all these pollution comes from? to a large extend the environmental destruction is the heavy price that we pay for the rapid development of economy and the growing population. in order to have more fuel people cut down trees and dig more corals. but the growing needs for energy are hardly to meet. countless private cars on the street the gas stations are short of gasoline even the government has raise the price so many times in order to control the needs of gasoline but itsquo;s still not working. overusing the natural resources has already affected the ecological balance. however the factories still release the toxic air into the sky and the polluted water into the rivers. people still lack of the conscious of protecting the environment. i think itsquo;s time for all of us to do something.
the government should put forward some more strict laws to prevent the environment from being further polluted. and they should let people know more about the importance of environment protection. and we should find the balance between the economic growth and environmental protection. plant more trees in the deserts and stop cutting down the forest. forbid the factories to pour the waste water into the rivers directly. encourage people to use public transportations to work. both government and ordinary people should join hands together to make our home clean and fresh again. only in this way our earth could be a better place to live in.

浩瀚美丽的宇宙中，一颗新星的诞生让新的生命有了一个归宿。绿油油的草原，幽静的丛林，湛蓝的海洋……都是如此的美丽，那就是我们居住的地方——地球。
地球居住着的人们，有着不同的种族，不同的样子，不同的交流方式，但唯一相同的就是我们都是地球的儿女，都一脉相连，心心相映。
早在数亿年前，恐龙出现在这块肥沃的土地上，呼吸着新鲜的空气;数万年前，恐龙灭绝了，又出现了新的动植物，轮到它们吸允新鲜的空气了;数千年前，我么的祖先出现了，他们以各种方式来生存，他们用自己的方法来保护美丽的大自然，大自然变得更加生气勃勃。
初中学保护环境
从远古时代到了经济发展速度极快的现代。人们遗忘了地球母亲对我们的好，肆无忌惮地去伤害她。为了自己的利益，严重地破坏环境，无顾忌地砍伐树木，为此，我们也受到了应有的报应：洪水、沙尘暴……这些灾难席卷而来，无数人类的生命就此丧失了。
大家一定学过“食物链”吧!通过学习“食物链”这一课，我们可以知道，任何东西的生存依靠都是由草开始，比如说在大草原上，老鼠吃草，蛇吃老鼠，老鹰吃蛇……现在我们打个比方，就比如说草原上的草，在一夜之间突然消失，老鼠失去了食物的来源，只好饿死，老鼠饿死了，想要蛇死，也就指日可待了，最后，整个动物世界也灭亡了。
草为什么消失呢?罪魁祸首就是我们人类了。由于人类在不停地制造垃圾，导致之地球上的生物链失去平衡。如果我们随便扔掉一节已废掉的电池，即使在一片土地里的一个小角落里，那个小角落及附近也会长年不长花草，甚至极大可能永远不长花草。
如果我们将一块面包丢在一株花草的附近，它很快就会发霉、烂掉，最后引来一群飞虫，它们在面包上呆一段时间后，很快就会产生新的破坏分子，对它进行破坏。这次，它们的破坏对象就是那株花草了。
既然我们选择了地球，就应该好好地保护它，为我们的生命营造一个美丽的环境。让我们携手努力吧!

水泥公路旁，一辆辆汽车穿梭其中，有时冷清，有时繁闹。唯一不变的，是公路旁一棵矮矮的树苗。也许是有心人的播种吧，或者是无心人的丢弃，他没有爸妈，但它还是坚强的活了下来。
他摇晃着幼嫩的枝条，像是在向他的大地妈妈摆着手，似乎在欢庆着他的新生。他的父亲，高兴得流下了眼泪，化作一滴滴甘露，滴落在他的头上，手上，脚上。他的嘴角又弯了起来，高高兴兴的洗了一个小澡，殊不知，他又长高了一寸。
他有一个慈祥的爷爷，在爷爷的庇护下，他欢乐的生长。然而，好景不会长，小树也不例外----几个顽皮的孩子相互打闹，瞅见了小树，寻思着打一场剑击比赛，一把折下了树的一双稚幼的手丫。
“咔”，仿佛听见了心碎的声音，沉淀在心底里。
小树悲痛极了，看见了父亲气闷闷地走了过来，纯白的面孔镀上凶神恶煞，还没来的及诉苦，脾气异常的父亲就开始家训。公公是最疼小树的，但此时的父亲将公公拒于门外，不分青红皂白就骂了起来。
“轰--隆隆”狂风“呼呼”伴随拳头般的雨点劈打下来，打在公路上，小树边，还有那还未来得及愈合的伤口，打在了一颗已经支离破碎的心上......
一泉甜蜜在碎片中流淌而出，像一股强力胶，硬是把这颗不可修复的心重新粘合在了一齐。似乎更加强大，更加坚硬。宛如打铁后重获新生的坚韧，雨过天晴后更加绚丽的彩虹，蚕蛹破茧后展翅高飞的翅膀----小树醒了过来，宛如浴火凤凰，他，苏醒了。
他的根，深入万丈的泥土，插进岩石也不罢休。汲取着无尽的营养，汇聚于那树干上的一点。“咔嚓”年岁已久的树皮裂开，一条嫩绿的，调皮的新枝缓缓抽出，分裂，分裂，分裂，迅速攀升......
十多年过去了，昔日的蓝天还是蓝天，只是多了几朵白云;昔日的马路依旧还是马路，只是铺上了沥青。可是，昔日的小树已不见踪影，只是马路旁又多了一棵头顶蓝天，脚踏实地的参天大树。他很欢乐，因为鸟儿在他手上架窝，路人在他身下乘凉，但他最忘不了的，还是十多年前的那一天.....
成长的路上，没有永恒的欢乐，可是只要你用心体会每一次挫折，那么欢乐就会在不经意间降临。
