我们环保小队选择去“柳市镇马来浃内河”调查家乡的水污染情况。
镇政府治水办公室的王老师带我们一行人沿着河岸边走边就近观察内河，我们看到内河被分成了两段，其中一段河面上种植着一大片绿油油的水植物，王老师向我们介绍：这是一种净化河水的植物——狐尾草，水受到污染后，它可以净化河水，使它变的清澈；另一段内河用障碍物隔离成了小池塘模样，只见河面上漂着好多个蓝色作业工具——增氧机，增氧机每隔一段时间就不断翻滚起来，通过这样的增氧作业使河水活起来，有利于鱼、水植等的存活。”王老师从内河提了一桶水让我们观察，我们拿它跟矿泉水比，通过比较观察，我们发现矿泉水清澈无比，很想喝它解渴；而河水很浑浊，其中还有少量水虫、还有一丝异味，想远离并赶紧倒掉。这还是二期治水的效果，水污染情况还是非常严重的。接着，我们一群人来到会议室讨论，同时王老师问我们：“政府可以采取哪些措施来治理水污染。”我们几乎异口同声的说道：“种狐尾草，清理河道。”王老师听完我们的回答后，微笑着点头，同时，向我们补充介绍政府还这样做：

上周末，我们全家一起到汾河河畔，赏汾河夜景。
刚刚走到河畔，侧耳倾听，阵阵二胡，声声入耳。有时是在奏高山流水，与汾河相互相应；有时是在唱小桥流水，与汾河势不两立。就在这不知不觉中，将人们带入这别样的美景。
悠悠漫步在河畔，昏黄的灯光洒在小路上，身旁的小草传来雨后的淡淡芳香，波光粼粼的水面在哼着小调为我伴奏，我好像踩在一架巨大的钢琴上，一步一音，弹着华丽的乐章。我哼着歌，弹着琴，自由自在，像个公主。
静静漫步在河畔，少了世间的嘈杂，只有静静的水声和几声清脆的蛙鸣，仿佛置身于乡间小道。夜晚的汾河，没有了白天的“假小子”气，像是一个小淑女，连说话都是那样细言细语。夜晚的汾河，是一个腼腆的孩子，不敢大胆地站在舞台上唱歌，只是独自一人躲在幕后哼着属于自己的别样的歌调。
轻轻的走在河畔，细细品味着霓虹灯下，冲向远方的汾河，没有尽头。向四周望去，只见那汾河畔上矗立着一座颇为古典的阁楼，四层高的楼阁，依偎在汾河母亲的怀抱中，楼檐在雨水的冲洗下显得分外耀眼。与那奔流不息的汾河有着鲜明的对比。刹那间，一声嘹亮的歌声打破了夜的宁静，猛然扭头才发现在不远处的小亭中站满了人。不是别人，而是一位位唱红歌的老前辈。他们一个个斗志昂扬，精神抖擞，唱着一首首红歌，在为汾河鼓劲，喊加油。
汾河，一条普通的河。他没有河畔的楼阁那样的宏伟，也没有那一位位唱红歌的老人们那般壮烈，但是它却像一位后勤工作者默默的奉献，别无所求。

可是，好梦不长，没过几个月。有一天鱼儿们醒来了，其中一只鱼儿看到河水，惊讶地叫了起来：“水怎么变脏了？还散发出刺鼻的气味。树木怎么只剩树桩了？原本绿油油的大地瞬间变成了死灰色，四周寸草不生，咦？到底怎么回事？”
经过调查后才得知是化工厂的废气和污水搞得鬼。鱼儿们愁眉苦脸，眼角还挂着泪珠，再这样下去，它们也难逃死亡的命运。后来，鱼儿们叫人类别再这样了。可是，人类死性不改，鱼儿们很生气。于是，它们费尽千辛万苦，终于找到了大海爷爷，鱼儿们把事情的经过一五一十地告诉了大海爷爷，大海爷爷愤怒极了，决定要惩罚人类。于是大海爷爷卷起海涛，发动了海啸，把化工厂给淹没了，化工厂的人也都死了。
从此，大地又恢复了生机。
